Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Haiku Club's 2015 Renga Tree! See the amazing 230 poem collaboration for yourself.
The Prolific Poster Award goes to ScottMan2th
He submitted an amazing 49 poems to the tree, though I did give him a run for his money this time.
The Spirit Award also goes to ScottMan2th
Not only was Scott prolific in the challenge, keeping the obsession rolling, he was also the same when it came to comment/reply output with entries, inspiring others to become more involved as well.
First Place goes to Snow Angels by Jade-Pandora
Bittersweet and spot-on imagery.
Second Place goes to Hearth Dragons by betwixtthepages
I'd never thought of the moving smokes as dragons, and it made a mundane thing magical.
Third Place goes to Willow by ScottMan2th
I especially like the imagery of nature, and the inner strength of the tree that can be transferred to almost any situation.
Honorable Mentions go to:
Frostbite by RetroZombie
Nature mirrored in the dance of love, with beautiful sensory imagery.
Eons of Ions by saiun
Beautiful vision of the slow passage of glacial ice under the ephemeral aurora borealis.
6:30 a.m. by somnomollior
Describing a scene in scents when the subject probably can't smell very well at the moment is artful and gives this poem several levels.
Special thanks go to saiun for judging the contest, and moyan, RedDragonfly, saiun, and somethingzenzen for providing prizes.

Snow angels
reminiscing,
the imprints you and I
left behind, fill with snow

I'd never thought of the moving smokes as dragons, and it made a mundane thing magical.
Hearth Dragonssmoke settles heavy
on the hearth--
a dance of gray dragons
