Hi Folks sorry for the delay! Here are the winners picked by myself somnomollior and moyanII
We both picked our three favourites and they were all different. So without a third judge to tie-break there are two first place, two second place and two third place and no honourable mentions.
There were so many entries to choose from that I personally went with the ones that just pleased me the most and not necessarily the tightest in form, so please don't be discouraged if you didn't win. It's tough to just single out a few from so many. There were things I liked about every entry.
Joint winners:
Judges comment: a reminiscense of sound and a description of something that is no longer there. quite intriguing.
Judges comment: A simple but strong image followed by two, original and thought-provoking lines.
Joint second place:
Judges comment: i like the visual impact, as if the plant is trying to seek solace in the fake security guard.
Judges comment: I liked the image of this one a lot since the petals could be compared with the dresses. It brings colour and movement vividly to my mind.
Joint third place:
Judges comment: a very safe rendition of an autumn standard scenario, but nevertheless still well done and stands out in its classical simplicity and visual image amidst the entries.
Judges comment: I found the autumnal image atmospheric and intriguing and the toothed breeze had bite to it just as a cold breeze would and be a aha! reminder of the change of season.
Remember to give them some love!
